Benton's Shipping Policies
All in-stock items ship FREE!
- Benton does not penalize our business customers with minimum order charges, shipping
charges, fuel surcharges or other fees.
- Orders received in our system before 5:00 PM (your time zone) ship the same business day.
- Most orders will arrive the following business day as we ship from a network of distribution centers across the United
States.
- Products such as desks, file cabinets, etc. that are too large to ship by UPS will ship to you by truck. Truck deliveries
typically require 1-3 additional days for delivery.
- Items that ship directly from the manufacturer may also require extra time for delivery. The estimated delivery time for
these orders can be obtained from customer service.
- Special requests accepted. Benton understands the need for special attention on certain orders. Please call
one of our mighty fantastic customer service representatives to discuss options you may have for your delivery. The
best time to do this is before you submit your order.
- Once you submit your order, our team gets to work right away picking, packing and wrapping your order and
therefore, changes cannot be made.
- Claims for damaged or missing items must be made within 48 hrs.
Truck Deliveries to Commercial Addresses
- Truck deliveries do not include inside delivery.
- Truck shipments are dock delivery or, if you do not have a dock, the driver will bring the item(s) to the rear of the
truck but will not assist you in bringing the item(s) inside.
- Inside delivery and/or setup is available for an additional charge. Contact customer service for an inside delivery
quote.
- Note any visible damage on the bill of lading/delivery ticket before signing for the shipment or refuse delivery of any
damaged items. If you refuse the delivery, please contact customer service so we can expedite a replacement order
for you.
- Claims for damaged or missing items must be made within 48 hrs.
Truck Deliveries to Residential Addresses
- Inside delivery is not available to residential addresses or home offices.
- Truck shipments are tailgate delivery (the driver will bring the item to the rear of the truck but will not assist you in
bringing the item inside).
- A signature is required for all truck deliveries so someone must be available during business hours (Monday-Friday
8:00AM to 5:00PM) to sign for delivery.
- Note any visible damage on the bill of lading before signing for the shipment or refuse the shipment if a replacement
item is required.
- Claims for damaged or missing items must be made within 48 hrs.
- Manufacturer direct orders from Benton
- Items that ship directly from the manufacturer will require additional time for delivery.
